Vive La Ville Marie!
The East Coast Canadian leg of our current tour has just wrapped up. We saved our hometown of Montreal for last and the crowd sent us off down the road with a deafening roar. The packed house at the beautiful Theatre National was one of the best we've ever had, instilling a sense of civic pride in the whole band. Nuge has decided that his chances of become mayor of Montreal have never been better. Bonne chance mon ami! Danielle Duval joined us on stage for a great encore performance of Thursday night's Toronto show. Receivers, led by Joseph Donovan (co-producer of Chemical City) kicked-off the night with their inaugural show, to a warm reception from the crowd. Joe had been filling-in for James during his convalescence and basically saved our hides. He learned the songs in a matter of days and we played our first show within a week. Thanks Joe for the zeal, hard-work and good times on the road. We'll have some shots of the show up as soon as we get 'em. See you in NYC.
