We had the great pleasure this week of performing at the Holiday Jam show in Toronto in support of the Sick Kids Hospital. This is becoming a date on the yearly calendar which we all look forward to. It is a stripped-down vibe at the Phoenix, acoustic only, with some great people including Matt Mays, Danny Michel, Sarah Harmer and the Tragically Hip. Hell, Paul Coffey introduced our set... Earlier on in the day Gord Downie, Sarah Harmer and myself had a chance to visit the hospital and play a few numbers for the kids and staff. I would like to thank them all for smiling and clapping politely as we butchered one Christmas Carol after another (minus Sarah Harmer who knows the mysterious second verse to Frosty the Snowman). In other news, we have mastered the record which means... it's done. A single will be released in January and the record soon after.
