Here are some old black & white photos found recently on a roll of film. Our friend Richmond Lam took these photos of us at our Love At The End Of The World album launch show.

Heading up to Wapusk National Park in Northern Manitoba for a week.
Thanks to the musicians, students, staff and everyone in attendance for having us out at Loyola High School’s Battle of the Bands, here in Montreal. This was a long-awaited return to our Alma Mater, the birthplace of the band, and once the nerves of having to perform for your former Chemistry teacher subsided, we had a great night. Hats off to all of the bands who got up there and let it all hang out, and congratulations to “Ignition” for their well-deserved victory. Special thanks to the folks at Sennheiser for setting the whole show up with audio equipment and helping the music come to life. This was sweet revenge indeed for our having been cut from Talent Night during our own high school days…
The 2010 Vancouver Olympics have come and gone, and with them my dreams of a medal in the biathlon. Fortunately, we still had the chance to be there and see it all up close. We played shows in Surrey, Vancouver and Whistler, all three in the open air, feeling more like summer festivals than winter fare. The cherry blossoms are already in full-bloom, and like Ken Watanabe’s character Katsumoto said in the film The Last Samurai, “every one is perfect……” Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows and helped to make the memories good ones. And a special thanks to everyone in St. John’s, who shared our last Olympic hurrah with us at Mile One.
See you in Sochi
In addition to the three free outdoor shows we will be playing in BC for the Vancouver Winter Olympics, we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be taking the party down East to perform at another free Olympic celebration in St. John’s Newfoundland at Mile One as well!
